For those who do not know the history of FYMM …

It all started in early 2011. I started the blog in January 2011. A month later, Mac and the team found it and tweeted about it. Shortly after, I was in contact with the team and eventually met Mac for the first time in March 2011. Since then, I’ve maintained a friendship with the team, and agreed to keep updating FYMM while watching Mac’s fame grow.

I’d say FYMM went strong for about a year and a half. I made stickers and sold those, I was doing giveaways (including free CD’s and signed photos by Mac himself) … FYMM had a strong fan base. But as my life started getting more busy, the updates on FYMM slowed down and now only contain new and relevant information (as opposed to countless photos and whatnot of anything Mac Miller related). I just didn’t have the time that I had when I first started the site.

To that I just wanted to say:

Thank you to all the fans who have been supporting FYMM - whether from the very beginning or just recently. I’ve always said that Mac Miller fans are the best, and that’s because they really are. I’ve met some cool ass people because of FYMM (I still find it weird when strangers [especially when I’m in another city] recognize me as “the girl who runs Mac’s fansite” lol), and have made new friendships because of it. I keep FYMM going for YOU guys, for the FANS. Trust me when I say everyone is aware of the lack of updates on Mac’s official website, which is why I feel so happy that I get to be that information outlet for so many of you.

Plans for new and exciting things are in the works. But I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s been alongside me during this crazy ride I was so fortunate enough to be able to be on.

This is not a goodbye message for FYMM. This is just me, saying thank you for the support, and thank you for understanding if I do not answer all your questions (I answer them quicker when you don’t ask anonymously), or if I do not post new stuff right away, or that I don’t do giveaways anymore … FYMM will continue to be running, so don’t you worry.
